In The Dojos

In 2009, I quit my day job and traveled around Japan, to take pictures of judo trainings around the country.
I went from Tokyo to Kagoshima and back, stopping in dojos that where recommanded to me by the teachers I had met earlier in the journey.
I went in all kind of dojos, from tiny familial ones to huge international ones, trying to capture the people and the atmosphere, more than beautiful sport moves.
